One of Journey's first words was "Mama" along with the usuals like "Dada" and "dig"-okay "dig" isn't a typical first word, but she caught on to it for some reason! But at some point "Mama" turned to "Mommy" which seemed typical also. But I distinctly remember noticing she switched back to "Mama" in the last year. I hear it quite often throughout the day as one might imagine. "Mama-can I watch T.V?", "Mama-Wright pooped in his pants", "Mama-you want to play Candyland?", "Mama-Daryl wants to come in", etc. I'm guessing one reason Journey may have switched back is it is quicker to say than "Mommy". Whatever the reason, I like "Mama." There is something about the way Journey says it and now Wright babbles it that makes me smile. It's fun being the "Mama."
